New Brabham BT62 inspired by the BT19!

Sir John Arthur Brabham (died 19 May 2014 at age 88) was the first driver to win the Formula 1 championship in a car bearing his name. It was in 1966 with the BT19. He has been 3 times F1 World Champion (1959, 1960 and 1966). He was a real Sir Gentleman Driver!

His son David, who notably won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2009 with Peugeot, has devised a new Brabham car, which will first be reserved for circuits pending a possible homologation of a GT in the coming years. "It's been twelve years since I thought of putting Brabham's legendary name back on the stage, with the desire to return to international competition. My father had an incredible passion for winning and, like him, I worked tirelessly to achieve this goal, using my experience as a race driver and men's leader. "
